Measure the groove
Start with groove width, depth and backing shape. A clear end-section photo beside a ruler is more useful than a broad product name.
Choose pile height
The pile should contact the moving surface without creating unnecessary drag. Check the real gap after the sash moves rather than copying a catalog height.
Check backing and fin
Compare backing thickness and fin position with the old sample or profile drawing. Keep finned and non-finned options separate in the size list.
Record the selected specification
Keep width, height, backing, density, color and roll length together so replacement and repeat orders use the same reference.
